Is there anyone who can give me some idea at what speeds you usually shift a 1971 VW Bus?

I'm trying to tell her that she carries is not a 1971 VW new car. she just got all new bushing, flywheel, crankshaft. . etc. Are there any particular tool to be carying it when I travel. she is new to me and I make sure I have what I need if I need help on the road. l oil already has. there is a recommended weight she likes. 10with30 got. anyone who can give me tips heads up would be great. Can automotive AC recharge kits be used to recharge home air conditioners?

Hi! I am trying to top off my home air conditioner that uses Freon. Can I use AC recharge kits that I can purchase from automotive store? If so, which refrigerant should I look for? My home air conditioner is atleast 20 years old.
