What to expect while traveling alone for the first time?

I am 17 and to Florida next weekend. This won’t be the first time I am on a plane but will be the first time I am alone. I am just wondering what to expect and any to make the process easier and less stressful.

    hey, i’ve flown b4 myself when i was younger than that (about 9), but you will enjoy it, im sure. just take ur ipod or book (whatever your into) to keep u busy, and enjoy the ride! its a sence of independance and its great! dont panic or stress, coz thers nuffin to stress about!! enojoy ur holiday to florida….hear its amazing there!

    just make sure you know your flight numbers, times, destinations and have it all on hand. even if i have a layover the first thing i do when i reach an airport is find the next gate, then settle down somewhere to relax. just pay attention when you’re in the airport and enjoy the ride.

    Same as traveling with other people.

    You check in either on-line or at the airport, go through secutiry, hand your ticket to the agent and board the plane…………

    Why would it be any different traveling alone?
