You are definitely a candidate for Hedonism. There are always some singles around and never kids. I recomment Hedo 2.

If you’re not already committed to Negril, Ocho Rios is also a great option…especially since you’re coming alone. There are a lot more activities to do in Ocho Rios…things most young professionals would love on vacation. Zip Lines, waterfall climbs, river rafting, Marguritaville, Hard Rock Cafe, great beaches, plantation tours and a plethera of hotels to choose from. Negril is a lot more laid back, so if it’s a long stay…(longer than 4 days), I’d say go Ochi.
I’d recommend you stay at Boschobel Beach Resort or Sunset Jamaica Grande. Both are all inclusive hotels with well kept properties and in close proximity to activities.
Enjoy Jamaica. There’s a lot to do and see…(if that’s your desire)..and if it isn’t, there’s no nicer place to just do nothing.
