James R asked:

My 89 civic wont start. It but wont catch. the battery has been messing up, but I think that was just a bad connection so I cleaned it. We changed the oil yesterday. Would those two things be the problem.

Changing the oil and cleaning the battery terminal should not have had any adverse affect on starting the engine.

Please explain what you mean by your Civic not ‘catching’, and how cleaning a batery connection and changing oil could stop it from ‘catching’, whatever ‘catching’ is.
